Take advantage of the flexibility that comes with remote work as a Blog Writer specializing in App Critiques. In this position, you will examine a range of mobile applications, looking at both their design and how well they function, and give readers candid, thoughtful critiques that go further than basic reviews. Your writing will support app creators and users alike, which makes it important for ongoing enhancements in app design and user experience.
Roles: You will need to install apps on your smartphone or tablet and explore every feature they offer. After that, you will write a brief review of what you experienced and note any problems you find.
Requirements: You must have access to at least one of these devices: an iPhone, an iPad, an Android smartphone, or an Android tablet.
Contract length: There is no set term.
Rate: $35 per hour (depending on how complex the app is and how much detail the review requires).
Skills/background needed:
- You need access to a smartphone or tablet and should know how to install and use apps.
- You should be able to work on your own.
- You need the ability to follow the steps and instructions you are given closely.
- You must be available for at least 5 hours each week.
- You need a dependable internet connection.
Hours per week: Flexible.
Location: Work from home online (US preferred). We are currently increasing the number of work-from-home positions for these roles by a large amount.
